ERBIL - The Iraqi health ministry on Tuesday reported that it had recorded 2,022 new infections with COVID-19 across the country over the past day.
During the same period of time, the virus has also claimed the lives of 95 other people, with which the death toll rose to 3,345, the ministry said in a statement.
It also noted that 3,784 patients have recovered from the disease since yesterday.
The new reports take the total number of people so far been diagnosed with COVID-19 in Iraq and the Kurdistan Region since February to 81,757, out of which, 50,872 people have recovered.
