ERBIL - Turkey on Monday delivered medical assistance to neighboring Iraq to help Baghdad in combating the coronavirus pandemic.
The Iraqi Foreign Ministry said in a statement that several trucks carrying medical supplies arrived in Baghdad from Turkey on Monday.
Speaking to reporters, Ahmed al-Sahaf, a spokesperson for the ministry, noted that they would cooperate with the Ministry of Health to receive the medical assistance and distribute it among the patients who are in need.
