Iraq, Saudi Arabia Confirm Commitment to OPEC+ Deal

ERBIL - Both Iraq and Saudi Arabia have confirmed their complete commitment to the OPEC+ agreement, a report said on Monday.

Iraqi Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul Jabbar Ismail held a phone call with Saudi Minister of Energy Prince Abdulaziz bin Salman and discussed the latest developments about the oil markets, the improved global demand for oil, as well as the progress in implementing the current OPEC+ deal to reduce production, as reported by Arab News.

The Saudi minister, during the phone call, commended Iraq's performance within the framework of the deal, as Baghdad's level of commitment in June reached 90 percent. He also stated his certainty that Iraq would improve its level of compliance with the oil cuts, according to the report.
