KRG Reports over 260 New COVID-19 Cases

ERBIL - The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) on Saturday announced more than 260 new cases of coronavirus.

A statement by the health ministry explained that over the past 24 hours, 104 people have been found positive for COVID-19 in the capital Erbil, 67 in Garmiyan area, 77 in Sulaimaniya, 5 in Duhok, and 11 others in Halabja province.

According to the statement, the death toll rose to 312 after seven more people lost their lives on Saturday.

Since early March, the Kurdistan Region has recorded a total of 9,201 infections of COVID-19 with 3,294 recoveries.
