ERBIL - A car bomb explosion resulted in the killing of six people in the Kurdish city of Tel Abyad (Gire Sipi) in northern Syria, a monitor revealed on Tuesday.
The incident took place near al-Firn roundabout in Gire Sipi town which is under the control of the Turkish forces and Ankara-backed Syrian rebels, the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights said.
It further noted that three of the victims were children while the identity of the other three has so far remained unknown.
More than 15 other people were also wounded in the bomb explosion, SOHR added.
No terrorist organisations or groups were immediately blamed for the bomb attack with no claims of responsibility either.
