ERBIL - A fire was set to wheat farms belonging to the Kurdish residents in the disputed Kurdish town of Daquq in south of Kirkuk province on Thursday, a local confirmed.
Speaking to BasNews, Kamaran Sharif, a Kurdish farmer, pointed out that the agricultural fields of Kurdish villagers were burned in the village of Topzawa.
He accused the Islamic State (IS) and the Arabs who have been brought from other Iraqi areas, of being behind the incidents.
A great number of similar incidents have lately been reported in the disputed areas where Kurds are claiming to be under pressure to leave the territories.
