Kurdish Policeman Found Decapitated in Disputed Province of Kirkuk

ERBIL — The decapitated body of a Kurdish policeman was found in the disputed Kurdish province of Kirkuk on Sunday.

Bahjat Mohammad, left home on Saturday and went missing with his cell phone switched off immediately, said a member of his family.

Police found his body in Askari neighborhood of Kirkuk, media reports cited the police department, confirming that he was beheaded and left in his own car.

There is an ongoing investigation into the case now, Kurdistan 24 reported.
