Iran-Backed Militia Headquarter Burned in South of Iraq

ERBIL — A group of unidentified men stormed a headquarter belonging to the Iran-backed militias of Asaib Ahl al-Haq in Iraq’s southern province of Missan on Sunday.

Media reports said the men set fire to the building and caused huge damages.

There were no reports of casualties.

Jawad Tallibawi, a senior member of the group, has accused the United States of the attack. Washington has already listed the leader of Asaib Ahl al-Haq as a terrorist.
