Kurdish Students Stranded in Poland for Flight Restrictions Repatriated by KRG

ERBIL - The Kurdistan Regional Government (KRG) brought home a number of students who had been stranded in Poland due to the anti-coronavirus measures and travel restrictions, a statement confirmed on Thursday.

A statement by KRG Representation in Poland explained that the repatriation was conducted in cooperations with KRG Department of Foreign Relations and the Iraqi Embassy in Poland

The citizens safely arrived in Erbil, the capital city of Kurdistan Region, the statement added.

The KRG has lately returned hundreds of citizens stranded in different countries as a result of COVID-19 travel restrictions.
