ERBIL — The Russian government decided on Wednesday to suspend issuing regular and transit travel visas for Iranian nationals in fear of coronavirus spread.
Deputy Prime Minister Tatiana Golikova confirmed the report and said that Russia has also decided to halt the flights to and from South Korea, starting from 1st March.
She also advised Russians to avoid traveling to Italy.
The new measures come amid the rapid increase in the number of people infected with coronavirus in Iran, South Korea, and Italy.
