YPG: We have killed Almost 3,000 Al-Nusra militants and 376 Syrian soldiers

The Democratic Union Party’s (PYD) military wing, the People’s Protection Unit (YPG), have released statistics on the Syrian conflict.
According to the YPG, approximately 3,000 members of Al-Nusra and 376 Syrian army soldiers have been killed by the YPG this year. Approximately 790 Syrian soldiers have been taken prisoners, but most were released.
The YPG also said that their fighters have seized tanks and ammunition from both the Syrian army and extremist groups.
Statistic also shows that 379 members of the YPG were killed in 2013 in Syria.
Since the start of Syrian war in 2011, thousands of civilians, including children and women have been killed in the Syrian conflict and millions have fled Syria into neighboring countries.
